Why?
It’s just one of those things. A believer as far back as I can remember, but wasn’t ready to really let go and let God until 1991. Baptized in a claw-foot bathtub in the county jail, I was just sick and tired of being sick and tired. I knew God had another life for me.
Our Beliefs in a nutshell
That the Bible is the inerrant and infallible word of God.
A Triune God! God The Father – God The Son – God The Holy Spirit
That Salvation is a gift from God through faith in Jesus, not works.
Baptism is our obedience to the Lord as a symbol of His cleansing blood.
In a growing relationship with Jesus and obeying Gods Word.
Yielding to the Holy Spirit and being conformed to the image of Christ.
Christ Is Simple
• He is the Son of God
• Born as a human
• Lived as a human
• Was crucified
• Rose again
• Lives Today!
• Is our Savior!
Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Simplicity
Have you ever noticed that if you ask 5 different people directions, more than likely you’ll get 5 different answers. The directions could be as simple as go to the stop light and turn left, yet the directions will be 2 pages long.
For some reason man has this uncanny ability to take something simple and turn it into something so difficult that hardly no one can understand it.
Christ is simple. He is our Savior. It’s faith that saves us. Faith in Jesus and what He did for us.
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
